We represent and advise clients on all types of insurance matters, on their employee fringe benefits (i.e., pensions, severance plans, life, health and disability insurance), and on issues pertaining to employee compensation and medical leave.
We actively litigate against insurance companies and plan administrators when those entities unlawfully fail to pay benefits. Through court litigation and administrative processes, the firm has assisted persons suffering debilitating illnesses and diseases in obtaining benefits due them from their insurance companies. We have assisted persons suffering from such illnesses as AIDS, HIV, cancer, chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), severe depression and diabetes.
We actively litigate discrimination cases in employment, education or other areas. We handle matters arising under Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Rehabilitation Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act and under state and local human rights laws.
